I think that’s right! The pundits are focusing on how Christine & Angle didn’t win - and they were Tea Party & Sarah’s picks.

Christine just flat out got beat, but Reid was FRAUD. The numbers cast for the GOP Governor make that obvious...65,000 split the ticket? Puh-leeze.

If they’re in central KC (Bagdad Jim McDermott (Commie) - Rep), probably not good; however, if they’re in east and southeast KC, he may still have a chance.

I would certainly think she will win and she’s Great!!

I heard her recently on a few talk shows and saw the video she did. Now that the Pubbies will be leading the House, I think/hope she’ll be more visible.

I agree!

Rove just said that Pubbies picked up something like 500 state legislature seats. And, in some states, such as AL & NC, the Pubbies hadn’t controlled the legislature in years. R’s control the Senate in AL - 1st time since 1938. 20 seats to R in Texas state house. IMHO, those are HUGH accomplishments, too! Those, plus the increase in R governors will certainly help with redistricting!

I haven’t seen all the numbers from NV. Based on what I’ve been reading on FR, the counts for Reid do seem very *fishy*. Was there any more on the machines that were automatically set for Reid and SEIU being the ‘repairmen’ for them?

What state/county are you in? Is it a D or R leaning county?

Does anyone know how many SoS were up for re-election? I’m hoping the R’s won those to try to crush the Soros SoS Project.

re: 500+ new state legislators

and as a conservative movement we need to focus a great deal upon cultivating, supporting, improving state legislators and local officials across the land who are the future

It’s hard to win with “outsiders” ala Christine O’Donnell, Sharron Angle, McMahon, Joe Miller etc. Good as they are for their ideas, we need more candidates with those ideas who also have lots of relevant govt. experience. Like it or not, there are plenty of voters who are not going to pull the level or punch the ballot card for someone they think of as a total neophyte in governance.

We can keep running such outsiders to lose, or we can develop more Ronald Reagan allies within the belly of the beast. (of course, Reagan was an “outsider” to the political establishment when he first ran for and won election as Governor of CA)

Republicans have gained 61 seats in the House of Representatives today.

It was a great day for conservatives. The radical far leftist agenda has been slowed down. Just think we now have a lot more conservatives vs. RINOs in congress. Now the goal is to keep the momentum going.

Don’t worry about Harry Reid. A) I think it was stolen. The polls do not match the actual vote. Plus with the conservative wave that took place it does not add up. B) 1/3 of the Senate will be up for election in 2012. More Democrats than this time, and the will not be able to blame all the problems on congress and not Obama. The Senate is still controlled by the Rats.

The people for the most part have spoken (minus the rats book of dirty tricks).

Agreed. How many illegal aliens do we think voted and phony registrations?

I am amazed at Mass, Calif, Deleware, Conn...astounding on the lack of common sense as to how people make money to live and survive...these states have replaced God with Government. I see companies up and moving to places like my state, Ohio which should improve economically soon.

Does anyone have a link where I can see, on a single screen, the results for EVERY election yesterday?

It’s really hard to find out actual numbers.

Want to see, for one thing, how many points Kasich beat Strickland by in Ohio.

But anything I find at Real Clear Politics just shows me how many points they think he’s going to beat him by.

It’s out of date. Thanks.

I should be happy, but am depressed about the Calif and NY and know we will supposed to bail them out next. And Nevada?

This would be the perfect opportunity for legislation that requires that all domestic spending be done in a manner proportionate to how it was collected, district by district. That way, people in districts with higher tax income will not have to continue to bail out those districts that are loaded with freeloading deadbeats. In other words, the blue districts will have to live within their means instead of leaning on the red districts for support.

That would help immensely in preventing taxpayers in the other 49 states from bailing out California. They made their own bed - let them sleep in it.

Such a move would also work wonders in preventing most earmarks since any earmarks would have to fit within the budget of the district that is benefitting from them.

Do you think we will end up with more than 61 seat pick up when it’s all said and done? In other words are there any elections still not called that could go our way?

and I know people around here don't want to hear it---the "Tea Party" candidates showed that in congressional races, which usually involve less money and a more homogeneous voter base, the message triumphs. But in larger statewide races, where you have to have more seasoning, experience counts

Geraldine Ferraro stated basically the same thing. And I think there's a lot of truth in it.
