Does anyone know why the # of precincts reporting in FL-22 is so low?

I expect Alan West to win by a 2 to 5 point margin. Along with Jennifer Carroll as Lt. Governor, Florida Republicans will have the beginnings of a opening to the Black electorate. As West’s and Carroll’s backgrounds suggest, that effort should be focused on the Black middle class, especially those with a military and immigrant background similar to theirs.

Yeah, only 6.6% of precincts reporting as of a few minutes ago. Anybody know what’s going on?
CNN just reset to 31% of precincts, and West is still at 55%!
Allen Boyd losing to Steve Southerland in Florida 2 is a real big surprise to me. I thought Boyd, an old time yellow dog democrat had the job as long as he wanted it.
The area is very conservative but a lot of the older people remember when the solid South voted for nothing but democrats.
OK...31% reporting now.
Listening to local radio here in SW FL, it seems to be the case with the southeast coast counties not reporting a lot of numbers right now for a couple of races, even the Governor’s race.
I agree with you 100%. If there is one House race in the entire nation where I want to see the GOP win, it’s this one.

Actually, Boyd was a Blue Dog. He lost because he was opposed to Obamacare...until he was for it. Nancy put his nuts in her Louis Vuitton purse and now he has no nuts and no job. Woo-hoo!
Boyd was at least moderately conservative as he had to be to represent such a conservative area. He was pro gun and pro military.
He was also regularly winning his previous races with over 60% of the vote and probably was a little worried but he should have been extremely worried.
As you point out, he sold his soul to Pelosi and now he has paid the price.

Yep...Boyd took his constituents for granted. Having homes in both FL-2 and FL-22, I’ll be ecstatic if West can beat Klein tonight.
