Joe Miller also had his name as a write-in.

I hope Miller wins but I do feel like it will be a long drawn out squeeker, at the very least they are both Republican so its no gain for the Democrats either way.

"Mcveigh had a metal too."

Hey Jim Robinson....Is this the kind of person you need to further the Conservative agenda? If he's still here later today I'll just assume he's a donated to the "cause".

Does anyone know FOR SURE what the OFFICIAL rule-of-thumb will be when counting the write-in votes?

Will it be exact spelling or "speller's intent"?

A source would be appreciated. I'm sure thousands of us would like to know. Thanks in advance.

Leni

They will have to follow it to correct spelling because their was another write-in of a Lisa M, I forget the last name.

But hear this everyone...

Joe Miller also had his name as write-in, SO....

Its quite possible that of the fair amount of voters writing in HIS name instead of checking off the box, because Alaska does have a sizable amount of Libertarians, who may not felt it conscientiously the right move to vote Republican, but did vote as Independents.

Lisa generated a lot of hate, so it would not surprise me to possibly see a lot of Miller write-ins, at least a good percentage.

More popcorn, and hoping Miller refuses to concede.

Joe won the primary fair and square and that signaled the left to destroy him no matter what/no matter how. And the sore loser liar lisa broke her word and continued the destruction.

That's what I saw from here, too. A full-court MSM media press against Miller, (and Angle and O'Donnell) with a tepid GOP reply at best.

It seems some seats are more important to the New World Marxist Order than others, regardless of Party affiliation.

In the meantime, elsewhere in the country, the GOP is taking the credit for the TEA party movement's heavy lifting.

Joe Miller and the Democrat were both also registered as write-in candidates. That would be a common sense move for both of them to reduce the number of ballots disqualified by crooked poll workers marking the write-in circle on non-Murkowski ballots.

There's a good chance many of those write-in ballots are for Joe Miller.

“Miller’s flaws could cost him’’’

Like that Bronze Star he got in Iraq.

And that Yale Degree he has...gee...so flawed (Sarcasm)

I did not compare Miller to McVeigh...i was trying to point out just because he has a medal that does not mean he’s qualified for the job. I do apologize if you took me that way.

Look at Tammy Duckworth a couple of years ago she was wounded in battle in Iraq but had some Socialist ideas, thank God we had Roskam at the time as he was the PROPER candidate to run against her although he did’nt win by that much but this is not Alaska, this is Commieland.

If Miller is the PROPER candidate he would have perhaps beat Murkowski last night or maybe the voters there are that stupid perhaps.

I think he has baggage otherwise it would be a Ron Johnson type victory. Just my thoughts. He may still pull it out & i hope he does but if not we will know why.

In my opinion there is no reason for a good Candidate to lose there, i mean isn’t this Palin Country? or maybe it’s not?

Sheesh. Another whiny RINO troll. They’re coming out of the woodwork!! Miller is a conservative and he won the primary against a turncoat RINO, AH. He deserves our full support!!

Take your backstabbing elsewhere! It’s not appreciated here!!

Brian, the people who posted their displeasure with your Medal comment were not thinking about anything you just explained.

They just didn't like the idea that you used McVeigh, a mass murderer, as someone to compare with Miller, whether you intended to or not.

I guess you could have used John Kerry, who served in Vietnam BTW, since Kerry had no respect for the Medals he received.

As I said in my original posting to you, it seemed to me that you just made a poor analogy without thinking it through. At one time or another, all of us here have done the same thing to some degree.

Maybe this is getting blown out of proportion, but you would garner more sympathy by just saying you were trying to be flippant and typed before you thought it through.

Peace brother...

“...i was trying to point out just because he has a medal that does not mean he’s qualified for the job.”

Oh...okie dokie...I understand, and totally agree.

However...

You equated Miller with Tammy Duckworth. I would have to disagree with that analogy.

Miller graduated from West Point, and received his law degree from Yale. IIRC, he’s most recently been a judge. He’s, also, a husband and the father of eight children.

“If Miller is the PROPER candidate he would have perhaps beat Murkowski last night or maybe the voters there are that stupid perhaps.”

Considering the dirty tricks Murkowski pulled, and the fact that she is now in bed with “special interests” aka unions, who knows the answer to your statement.

“I think he has baggage otherwise it would be a Ron Johnson type victory. Just my thoughts. He may still pull it out & i hope he does but if not we will know why.”

Yes...those are just “your” thoughts.

“In my opinion there is no reason for a good Candidate to lose there, i mean isn’t this Palin Country? or maybe it’s not?”

There has been a Palin / Murkowski feud going on ever since Sarah beat the elder Murkowski for the governorship.

Try connecting those dots.
