I saw a video of him voting yesterday..he looked very, very old..wonder if that had an effect..
That reminds me of the 1994 or 1996 election when Mitt Rommney, before he was known nationally, challenged Ted Kennedy for his Senate seat. Even back then, Ted looked like h-ll and was like the classic Irish stereotype -- fat, bloated, ruddy-complexioned from too much hard living. The Romney campaign included ads showing Teddy waddling around the Capitols and trying to fit his big fat a-- into a chair, in contrast with the handsome, fit, telegenic Romney. Ted almost lost. Soon thereafter he decided to get his life back together; remarried that younger women and stopped living like a playboy after 30 years at it.
Just wish that Dingell had been ousted because he looked too decrepit.
