The results from Indiana, Ohio and Virginia, where Democrats lost at least nine House seats, were particularly brutal for Mr. Obama, who even made a personal campaign stop last Friday...in a futile bid to rescue Rep. Tom Perriello. Mr. Obama won the White House in 2008 in part because he was able to sway voters in those states.
Among those ousted were two committee chairmen, Rep. John M. Spratt of South Carolina and Rep. Ike Skelton of Missouri, who between them had 64 years of experience in the House.
Republicans also picked up Senate seats in North Dakota, Indiana, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois and Pennsylvania...
...Republicans added two black congressman to their ranks with Rep.-elect Tim Scott's victory in an open seat in South Carolina and Rep.-elect Allen West's victory over two-term Rep. Ron Klein in Florida another failed candidate whom Mr. Obama personally campaigned for.

In the House, several longtime Democratic incumbents lost their seats, including 14-term Rep. Rick Boucher in Virginia, 13-term Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski in Pennsylvania, 10-term Rep. Chet Edwards in Texas and seven-term Rep. Allen Boyd in Florida.

We need Obummer to get his hands out of wallets and out of our lives!
Best headline I’ve seen in a while!
Boehner’s starting to tear up during his speech about the American Dream was beautiful. I don’t know that much about him, but I will definitely sleep better at night with him 3rd in line rather than fake Catholic Nancy P.
Music to my ears Ike Skelton gone!
