I just really loved the title, even if the rest of the piece may have needed a barf alert!

The Dems will continue to lose constituents as long as they refuse to recognize the Tea Party as a healthy, vocal, informed and demanding group of citizens - not WHITES, not RICH, not EXTREMISTS, not RADICALS, not MORONS. The Tea Party represents those who want to work hard, make a decent living and, yes, pay taxes. What we don't want is to see our money wasted, given away to people who don't deserve it, and especially to those who don't appreciate it. No matter what Democrats say, we are not heart-hearted individuals who want to hoard all of our money for our own selfish interests. We pay our taxes. We are glad to see government dollars spent on those who really need it. We just don't happen to consider members of the UAW and other pension-hampered organizations as "needy".

Tea Partiers give generously to charities, our churches and our neighbors in need. Recognize that and the fact that we do want to pay taxes for the things that are important and you will go a long way to improving your performance rating.

I’ll believe the “Hell, no!” if Congress tells the state of NY to go urinate up a rope when we demand a bailout...

It’s a day for celebrating, for a brief time. Then time to get to work.

If the House GOP majority if serious, they need to do a couple of things right off the bat:

Pass a balanced budget with no tax increases, defunding whole cabinet departments, not in ten years, but next year. This will turn the Alinsky play book against the Democrats. One of Alinsky’s rules is to make your opponents live by their own rules. The Dems have been whining about deficits for decades. Force them to either support huge spending cuts, or to oppose a balanced budget.

Repeal Obamacare. The Senate won’t pass this, nor will Obama sign it, but they need to go on record of repealling it.

Pass a law permitting cross state competition for health insurance, and expanding the health savings accounts.

Do little else.

If they do not do those things, they are not serious.

A few more thoughts: Big government and the free lunch are alive and well in large parts of the country, including California, Alaska, and Nevada. Moonbeam is back. Barbara
Bouncer (don’t call me ma’am) is back. Californians should hang their heads in shame.

The Dems’ ground game is hard to overcome. It includes hauling voters to the polls, running the big city polling places so that people can vote early and often, and keep voting from beyond the grave.

The Federal House of Representitives and the State house of Representitives is where the grass-roots can make the most impact and we did.

I didnt expect the Senate, but I see that there is going to have to be changes that will be initiated at grassroots.

Time to change our voting processes so they are in keeping with the century. Voters can scam the system, and if it is an important system, if it is meaningful, it needs to require re-registration of all American voters. Each voter will be registered like a driver’s license. No registaration, no vote. lThere should also be a minimen requirement to vote, Right now all the dementia patients “vote” with the loving hands of the UNIONS.
