I can certainly agree with that statement in regards to Maes. I actually thought he looked great after they pushed him at the beginning.
Then as more came out, I (like others) got really disappointed and concerned.
That was about the time Tancredo stepped forward and made his offer that if Maes ran, he would too unless the GOP intervened with a solid candidate (I believe Hank Brown was suggested).
Other than Buck and Tancredo here in Colorado, I am glad we got Sec. of State. Soros has pumped so much money into his “Secretary of State project nationwide, and I had fears we would not win that one”.
And even though I am not in Betsy Marky’s district, I REALLY am glad she lost.
And nationwide?
Oh the joys of Pelosi losing Speaker!
Taking the House made it all worth it.
There are 33 Senate seats up for grabs in 2012, and 24 of
those are Democrat.
Personally, I'm ready to start working on defeating those Dems.
“And even though I am not in Betsy Markys district, I REALLY am glad she lost.”
Well, I’m in “her” district, now Cory Gardner’s district, and I put a lot of effort into helping Cory win, including donating big bucks, sponsoring fund raisers for him, supporting him at the one debate, and writing online and newspaper articles supporting him (google: gardner markey debate). Cory’s a great guy, and I expect some day in the not too distant future, we’ll see U.S. Senator Gardner.
So, yeah, I’m glad Markey lost too: she’s a lying creep, and too stupid do anything put cast her vote the way she was told to by her masters.
