Bielat upbeat despite losing 4th to Frank
The Sun Chronicle ^ | November 3, 2010 | Stepahnie Bergman

With his wife Hope and son Theo beside him, Bielat said his campaign had done the impossible.

"We took on a 30-year incumbent, in the most gerrymandered district, who outspent us by $1 million. And we came close," Bielat said. "We have created, in the 4th District, a choice." "This is not the speech I wanted to give," Bielat said, but he insisted the race would be closer than the 58 percent to 39 percent split projected at 10:30 p.m., when he spoke.

Had not seen or read the final results.

58 percent of Massachussetts' voters are insane.

It is a district that is constructed to keep Bwarney Frank employed, and it was still a closer race that Bwarney had seen since being elected.

That doesn't mean that those voting for him are not insane. They are.

Heard on the radio coming to work this morning, Frank's remarks at his victory speech where he said that his opponent ran a campaign that was “beneath the dignity of politics”. Painting Bielat as some raunchy Repub.

What a scumbag Frank is. Even in his victory speech he spits down on a retired Marine with his vitriolic breath.

58% of the district's voters like the fact that Barney is a homo-prostitution-ring-running thug who more than any other politician was responsible for Fannie Mae granting loans to people they knew couldn't afford to pay them back. All this is a plus in the minds of the majority in that district.

Mass is a lost cause. The GOP got routed. They are truly living in an alternate universe. Even California gave the GOP some success in House races.

So much for Scott Brown Republicanism in the Baystate.

And speaking of Brown... last night had to scare the crap out of him (on a national GOP wave, Mass stayed solid Blue).

If you thought he was a RINO before, watch him run even further to the left.

Deval Patrick will be his opponent in 2012. Bank on it.

Book of Proverbs: “As the dog returneth to its vomit, so returneth the fool to his folly.”

MA, CA and NY need to be expelled from the USA. I thought Snot Brown was out in 2012 before last night; today I know he’s out in 2012.

One potential bright spot: Redistricting. Might be the only way to get rid of the Felching Freak.

I really like Bielat. I hope he finds some way to stay involved. West won after 2 races; but that was in a swing district in Florida, not in Mass in a Dem gerrymandered one.

At least Bielat gave Frank a scare. If the people in that district want the left wing policies, they can have them. MA has shown it is out of the mainstream with the rest of the country. CA too. Probably time to write them off.

Bielat gave frank the scare of his disgusting career. Bielat got more votes than any challenger ever has. Is that good for Brown or bad? I don’t know. One credible MA pollster said that there were more suburban democrats voting this round. Perhaps the election of Brown woke up some dem voters. MA stinks.

Exactly.

And by giving him a run, he made Frank and the Dems spend money and time on defense.

They can’t be everywhere at one time. More people need to challenge these sacred cows.

The Republicans in MA took a drubbing last night. My wife is on suicide watch.

MA, CA and NY need to be expelled from the USA.

Let me know before you pull the trigger on that. I need time to pack and get my butt to Texas.

Bielat may not have won, but he did the near impossible. I hope he will consider running again.

I was praying Bielat would win - Barney Frank should be in jail, not returning for ANOTHER term in Washington.

I seriously think these MA voters are delusional. They claim to be so “smaht” and diversified, but they keep voting for the same clowns that all think the same way...UGH!!
