I must have know'd it was Texas time.......
bought a 12 lb. "Pork Shoulder / Butt" roast yesterday at Cost-Co. That is exactly what the label says.
I'm curious as to how they got both ends together.
I got laid off a week ago. Really sucks, after nine years.
I was so upset that morning that I came home and finished putting up two antenna's that I have been working on for too long. Then, at my insistance, we went to OutBack for dinner. I was shocked when the waitress said it was Happy Hour - 2fer1. I drove us there. I think some one else drove home.
With that said, the wife seems to think she can just add anything to the to-do list. Rather irritating. I got stuff to do!
Which is why I bought the chunk-o-pork. Saturday is now free. She knows that if the boy is "doing biddness" on the patio the only conversations that get acknowledged are food related. Anything else goes in the closest ear...and is immediately shredded.
Love the wife, though. A very thoughtful, caring person. Her birthday was last Monday. Her dinner request was 1) Hot Wings, 2) Atomic Buffalo Turds and 3) Dates wrapped in bacon. It don't get no better!
