Brian Sussman (conservative Bay Area talk show host) has been saying for weeks/months now that she’ll end up running for, and becoming, mayor of San Francisco.
Sounds like as a good a theory as any.
I would believe that she would run for mayor. Gavin Newsom was elected Lieutenant Governor of California, so he’s leaving office as mayor soon. Don’t know if S.F. will have a special election to replace him or what will happen. I think the next regularly scheduled mayoral election is Nov. 2011 in S.F. for local elections there.
Nancy could well win an election in S.F. because she will be right at home with her liberal base.
