I’m in Ewa Beach, about 16 miles west of Honolulu on the lee shore. This area is predominately Filipino. Nice bunch of folks. The North Shore is where most of the fruits, nuts and flakes took up residence.

This is first time I have lived and worked under a socialist form of government. It sucks!

Hawaii is very liberal, fer sher. ;o)

But, it is beautiful! There are some very nice people there, and I enjoy visiting every chance I get. But, I don’t get to Oahu. :o(

We go to Maui and Kona, though. I’ve been to all of the big islands, even Oahu...Kauai is absolutely gorgeous, but more rain than I would like to see at Hanalei. We were there for a week, and on the last day we were finally able to see sun on the E and NE side of the island, so we went to Hanalei.

There is a dang good reason why they call it the “Garden Island”...rain. ;o)
