It is amazing the ingenuity Democrats invest in concocting explanations of voter behavior that erase what voters always care about, and this year more than ever -- ideas.

These are the laws of the left which no one dare break. Explains everything they do and say (lie about).

I Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking

II Thou shall not allow any member to question the group’s inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions

III Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions

IV Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose

V Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments

VI Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view

VII Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group’s stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members

VIII Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

Better stock up on popcorn, because the next 2 years you will begin to see them eat their own. The republicans controlling the House will put legislation forward to be voted on that will force democrats in the House and Senate to make a stand either with their constituents or with Obama and the radicals. Obama has little room to wiggle as he was propped up by the left to force through a strong progressive agenda, he is doomed to be a one-termer. The counter-revolution is on!

Thank you for a most impressive list of progressive commandments. Their myopia is further enhanced by the ridiculous notion that Republicans will now be forced to cooperate with the progressive takeover of society.

“They can no longer be the party of NO” says Reid. Of course, the notion that the electorate wholeheartedly rejected the entirety of the progressive agenda is clear to them but they dare not validate such troglodyte sentiments. This bunch of mad tyrants must be torn out root and branch and heaped upon the bonfire of history's evil empires.
On a side note, we owe a debt of deepest gratitude to James H. Fowler, professor of both medical genetics and political science at the University of California, San Diego for ferreting out the liberal gene.
Just as fragile X syndrome results in mental retardation, Fowler has demonstrated that a genetic fault line is coherent with liberalism, resulting in moral weakness as evidenced by those with this genetic defect engaging in promiscuity at an early stage in sexual development. Fowler expresses this as a high level of social activity in early adolescence. It is worth noting that progressives, who are notoriously incapable of acknowledging moral absolutes, are adamant that their subjectively derived morals must be enforced upon society at large. They do this to prevent conservative morals from influencing society.

Today's president from Illinois, a chronic campaigner and incontinent complainer who is uninhibited by considerations of presidential dignity...

Brilliant!

I second that -- Brilliant!
