I got a kick out of this. West won in the 2nd most expensive house race in the country. Klien had a well deserved loss after voting with Pelosi 98% of the time, and then trying to win with attack ads against West alone, among them one that released Allen Wests social security number. Klien had 4 years in the House. I've been told that 5 years is required for a pension.

Which is why the over 1 million debt of Kleins campaign on October 13 sort of struck me funny here. Anyone know who picks that up or how that works for losing candidates?

The icing on the cake is that Lt. Col. West not only won, but that he won big. Wasn’t his margin something like 17%?
