Boughton: Don't 'Rush To Judgment' (BAG OF VOTES IN CLOSET)
Hartford Courant ^ | 11-4-10 | Altimari

Posted on 11/04/2010 4:10:33 PM PDT by VinL

Mark Boughton, Tom Foley's running mate in the disputed governor's contest, said that earlier today an error was found in the Torrington vote returns that resulted in a 2,000-vote swing....

Boughton, mayor of Danbury and Republican candidate for lieutenant governor, cited the Torrington error as evidence that discrepancies in the vote totals posted by Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz continued to come to light. A misclassification inflated Democrat Dannel Malloy's totals and undercounted those of the Foley-Boughton team, he said...

MEANWHILE, Foley issued a release that said in Bridgeport "a bag of photocopied ballots was apparently discovered that had not been included in any previous count."

Found more ballots between the couch cushions?

After so many irresponsible elections, you’d think the left would be more careful. But since they always win in the irresponsible elections, no they won’t.

234 years...and we don’t have reliability in our election system. In fact, it is approaching parody. Bags of votes not discovered...voting machines with preprogrammed names...illegal aliens probably voting...dead people voting...

It does not seem complicated. People register by October 1, present a photo i.d. at the table, fill in the ovals with markers on the paper ballot, hand it over and scram!

And the more I read about absentee voting, the more I wonder about what happens to those ballots.

So what's the big deal?

I find bags of uncounted paper ballots in my closet all the time.

Who doesn't?

Kinda like dust-bunnies ya know. No matter how much you clean, the darn things just stack up.

So, around here, every couple of months it's "HONEY, the closet is stacking up with bags of votes again, can you take them to the trash?"

It amazes me every two years how many Democrats vote in garbage cans and closets and desk drawers and the trunks of cars.

Photocopied ballots? Well, I guess that makes sense, when you need to create a lot of votes and you don’t have much time to do it.

This one was taken straight out of the DNC voter fraud playbook, pulling out all the stops.

Step 1: Order too few ballots
Step 2: Create a “crisis” by running out of ballots, so that photocopies are used instead (without a sequential number)
Step 3: Cry to a crony judge about how people are getting “disenfranchised”
Step 4: Get the judge to “extend” the voting hours while you figure out how many votes you need.
Step 5: Make up your margin of error in those extra few hours.
