Malloy Wins: AP
NBC ^ | 11/05/2010

Posted on 11/05/2010 3:02:50 PM PDT by library user

Dan Malloy has defeated Republican Tom Foley to become the first Democrat in two decades to be elected governor of Connecticut.

The Associated Press on Friday reinstated its call of Malloy as the winner of the governor's race.

The AP initially called Malloy the winner on Wednesday, after Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz said her preliminary count showed Malloy had won by 3,103 votes, but withdrew the call Wednesday night when its vote count, with all but a handful of precincts reporting, showed Foley with a narrow lead.

Bridgeport elections officials handed the final numbers over to Bysiewicz on Friday afternoon.

The frequency and scope of Dem vote fraud is breathtaking. It is one of the reasons I have a visceral contempt for Dems.

Do Republicans have NO lawyers???????????

Sure. But they're all RINOs. When a real conservative Republican conservative lawyer makes the news, the RNC either badmouths him, or..."crickets." J. Christian Adams at the DOJ is hearing "crickets" now as he tries to expose Holder on the Philly New Black Panther travesty.

As for lawyers-— Foley was flanked by two(one from Rudy Guiliani’s firm)at his news conference thios morning.

And this from Ct.Post news:

In the meantime, the Connecticut GOP confirms it is formally requesting that the state’s 169 municipalities turn over all election records for inspection to the party under the Freedom of Information Act. Republican volunteers are hand-delivering public records requests to registrars and town clerks across the state.

“This is not unusual in case a statewide recount is ordered,” said Christopher Healy, the state GOP chairman.

Fred DeCaro III, Greenwich’s Republican registrar, confirmed that he received a FOIA request at 12:20 p.m. Friday. “It asks for everything,” DeCaro said. Covered in the request are ballot logs, lists of inactive voters, moderators’ memos, tally sheets, official check lists, absentee ballot request lists, the number of rejected absentee ballots and the number of spoiled ballots.

“Is there no such thing as a Democrat with integrity any more?”

Zell Miller is the last one, I think.

At some point, we have GOT to start fighting back, right? At some point also, this cheating and slimey back dealing has GOT to catch up with the RATS; we MUST make it happen. What are we sitting around here for? What the HE double hockey sticks can we do??!

It would help if we had a real investigative journalists out there.....we have ZILCH! Only partisans anymore.

Has a Republican ever won a close race other than Pres. Bush in 2000?

Sen. Pat Toomey did! The better question is:

Has an establishment Republican ever won a close race other than Pres. Bush in 2000?

Always “unexpectadly” found with hours of polls closing, and knowing EXACTLY how many votes needed for the dem to win.
Even in psychotically left wing precincts, the dem doesn’t get 90% of the vote. Yet the enchanted bags of mystery always break for the dem. This should be priority #1 for the new GOP congress. I know they are terrified that blacks and latinos “won’t like” them for it but honest minorities have to be made to understand that THEIR votes are being stolen by their democrat masters. You never know when a corrupt republican administration starts acting like this, with bags of “uncounted” GOP votes being found. They don’t understand that this can swing both ways.

‘It would help if we had a real investigative journalists out there.....we have ZILCH! Only partisans anymore.’

The press of yesteryear lore is dead. We do have a cadre of young conservatives (Andrew Brietbart and Erick Erickson come to mind) that are remaking journalism, however as we've found out from Brietbart’s connection to James O’Keefe, this can be a double edged sword at times. James had a flash of fame with ACORN and I think allowed that to get to his head in a couple of weird ill conceived failures since then.

Yeah, but we've got no one like Woodward and Bernstein really on our side...

Mebbe someone like Allan West can champion this important reform.

Why do we always give up so fast? Why why why?

This is not the way to preserve our country. I don’t care who wins, but I want legitimacy for our system. This chicanery MUST STOP to save our country and we are the ones who must stop it. Why do we back off so quickly when we know for a fact it is corruption and thievery to the hilt? I am more disgusted we ourselves than the thieves.

Well...Sen. Toomey (yeah...sounds good!) was outside the margin of fraud (1% or so). :-)

If we don’t win it before the country goes to bed on election night, we don’t win it. Ever.

And the GOP does nothing about it. Ever.

especially WIMP Republicans with no balls to FORCE THEM TO BE HONEST

Why force honesty when any RINO knows you can just trade the concession on the vote for the agreement to send some additional pork your way. Fewer RINO mouths to feed and more for each mouth. It all works out in the end. Everyone is happy.
