I had that problem with AT&T "way back when the internet was new". They wouldn't tell me who'd billed his stuff to my number. I went to MCI and never went back.

Unbelieveable, huh. After several months, I finally got the credit card company to credit me the nearly $600 but they acted like I was the one at fault so I'm sure my credit rating is ruined even though I've been with them forever. The lesson for the day is AT&T and Apple iTunes are criminals for aiding and abetting. If companies would make a concerted effort to stop this sort of thing, they would gain so much in customer support and we'd be charged less from their lazy arsed write offs.
