MUMBAI, India (AP) — President Barack Obama is announcing $10 billion in trade deals with India that are expected to help pay for 54,000 U.S. jobs.

He's also unveiling new export rules to make it easier for U.S. companies to do business with the nation of 1.2 billion people. Some of the changes, including relaxing controls on India's purchase of so-called "dual use" technologies that could be used for civilian or military purposes, have been top priorities for the business community.

Obama was to make the announcements Saturday in a speech to U.S. and Indian business executives on the first day of his 10-day, four-country Asia trip.

The $2 billion 0bama is spending for his royal excursion to India could pay those 54,000 people nearly $40,000 each.

No, go get another cup of coffee. No where does this article state he is "making" anything.

Support US jobs.... Pay for US jobs.... No making or creating.

God said, “Let there be...” and it was so. BO is quoted by the msm as though anything he “announces” is a done deal. They must not remember his pronouncement that unless he got his Porkulus Bill passed, unemployment would go to 8%. But we do.

Scoop up half the Fortune 500, have them package all their new sales to India in a nice bow-wrapped package and become a radical Marxist arm dealer—and voila! You have his rescheduled family vacation repackaged as a job-creating success.

According to the US - India business council, much of this trip is about getting licensing deals from companies like Harley Davison and Caterpillar. Apparently GE wants to sell a handful of fighter jet engines and Boeing wants to sell something like 10 planes.

If Obama really wanted to help create jobs he would call to permenantly eliminate taxes on small businesses here in America. He would also crush the EPA and stand up to the unions.

Again, I will point out nowhere in the article does it say he is creating jobs.

Support 54,000 jobs...is not the same as create.

I see lots of potential in the emerging shellac industry but it would be presumptuous of Barack to try hijack its momentum even if he's very much the catalyst and object of last week's big time shellacking.

It's going to take at least 54,000 people to make the White House look like this...

If he stayed home, he could have created another 10,800 jobs with the $2B “savings”

Thus my point about licensing deals. That’s called outsourcing.

It should also be noted that India is a big carbon credit buyer. When a company closes their doors here, they get a windfall of carbon credits for sale. They sell the carbon credits to India and manufacture there at cut rates.
