I was thinking kindly of Mitch Daniels until yesterday when Rush high-lighted Daniels’ Rodney King “can’t we all get along” philosophy of “compromising” with Obama “to get things done.” Fagetaboutit. I guess that’s why he was budget director for Bush when the budget went up astronomically and Congressional Dems got everything they wanted.

noonan dishonestly described the context of the interview on purpose. Palin was responding to tokyo rove trying to belittle her Alaska documentary, making the point that democrats and media had denigrated Reagan for bedtime for bonzo the same way tokyo rove was trying to denigrate Palin for he Alaska documentary.

And Peggy obviously believes its the beltway establishment GOP who can decide and tell the Tea Party who
is “electable”.

I believe the senate races where Tea Party candidates lost had more to do with not having connections into an established GOTV and campaign ground operations, which will take some time. Additionally, the states that just happened to have senate races for this year were more concentrated on solid blue states. And of course, democrat voter fraud is frequently a factor.

I believe the idea that the Tea Party is sending a message TO THE GOP, in addition to the democrats, has eluded Ms. Noonan.

But then, many things do.

Weel, then palin made it way too easy for Peegy to find a point to insult her on...
“Conservatives talked a lot about Ronald Reagan this year, but they have to take him more to heart, because his example here is a guide. All this seemed lost last week on Sarah Palin, who called him, on Fox, “an actor.” She was defending her form of political celebrity—reality show, “Dancing With the Stars,” etc. This is how she did it: “Wasn’t Ronald Reagan an actor? Wasn’t he in ‘Bedtime for Bonzo,’ Bozo, something? Ronald Reagan was an actor.”

Excuse me, but this was ignorant even for Mrs. Palin. “

Sarah better get used to criticisms like this ...this one hit it on the mark.

You’re wrong and apparently too impressed with typical, tiresome peggy pablum. She’s written shit like this a thousand times before. Always the same cloying, lecturing moralizing tone. She’s an insufferable bore that is insanely jealous of Palin. Craig Shirley disagrees with peg nooner and her silly lecturing of SP and said he’s a big fan of Palin and saw nothing wrong with what Palin said. He knew the context in her responding to tokyo roves dismissive comments.
