You know - I was in Houston a few weeks back and I witnessed something very strange. Two middle eastern men and a woman, all in western clothing, photographing each other in front of a metro train stop, on the trai itself, of an approaching train, the terminal stop, and finally at the doors of the co-cathedral of the sacred heart.
At the time i was wondering why they would photograph themselves in front of such banal settings. Now I think I know.
Most corporations have a very strict rule about taking pictures in front of their buildings. Employees can’t do it either. The Middle Easterners have been caught in buildings taking pictures of hallways and exit doors; etc. They pretend like they aren’t doing it by placing the cameras waist-high.

It would have been cool if you had taken pictures of them also, or pretended to do so with your phone.
