The best way to deal with this is to stop talking about a “debt ceiling.”
Instead, they oughta just say, “You are actually talking about us voting ourselves MORE credit after we’ve run up $13 trillion of debt already. Um...gosh...I don’t think THAT is what the American people were saying Tuesday.”
