I was watching Chris Wallace interview Eric Cantor and Wallace does the same at times. Cantor was trying to make a point and Wallace interrupted him twice and finally they moved on to something else without Cantor being able to fully give the answer. I hate “interrupt” tactics by these people. Christie has evidently learned to keep on point until the question is answered. When interviewers post questions, force them to listen to the answers before moving on.
Thanks for those links. Once again he dodged a direct answer on the VP question. He will not rule it out. Maybe because it’s not in his control? He doesn’t feel obligated to give a direct answer? How can one really know what they’ll do in that situation until it happens?
This guy is the best executive in politics today.
That's true. What bugs me, though, is when DEMs say you should offset tax cuts with spending cuts, the 'conservative' answer is to say no. They argue the premise rather than doing what we supposedly want them to do---cut spending.
In this interview, Christie doesn't argue the offset premise. He points out that he successfully offset the millionaire's tax cut with spending cuts. In other words, he didn't argue AGAINST spending cuts, as conservatives have in recent years. He said, offset it? OK. Baddabing. Now it's offset. He cut taxes AND spending.
Good for Christie, and one for us guys of the movement. Usually our women are calling these effeminate libs out.
my municipal taxes are going up over 8% next year, there are too many loopholes in the current law he just passed.
