Members of Students Organizing for America, a group of students aligned with the Democratic Party, may face a criminal investigation and possible felony charges after confrontations with an election judge over voter vouching during Tuesday’s election. Ginny Gelms, the interim elections director in Minneapolis, said she will submit a report to the Hennepin County attorney’s office and the Minnesota Secretary of State‘s office today. The offices will investigate a possible incident of improper vouching. Gelms said she was told by the University Lutheran Church precinct’s chair election judge there were two incidents of individuals trying to vouch for people they did not personally know. Vouching is a way to prove residence for on-site registration on Election Day. If someone doesn’t have a proper form of ID or a bill with their current name and address on it, a voter registered in the same precinct may sign an oath that they personally know that the individual is a resident of the precinct.

All voter fraud must be investigated and prosecuted for RAT voter fraud to be stopped.
This must be a priority for the Tea Party/Conservatives starting right now through 2012 and beyond. Nevada’s fraud last week must be investigated as well as all the other states where suspicious activity is quite apparent.

Wrong. The proper punishment for knowing, intentional election fraud is summary execution. There really is no greater betrayal of your countrymen than tampering with the vote.
Vote fraud would be VERY easy to fix. Make voting records public and provide "finders fees" for vote fraud. The finders fee could be a portion of a fine that is imposed.
That would be T-paw, the best governor I’ve ever had the pleasure of voting for. Don’t forget, he’s battled and beaten the DFL controlled state legislature almost single-handedly, I can think of no one who could have done better, and I’ve been voting Republican since 1978, first in Wisconsin and now here in Minnesota for the past 20-odd years.
Over 60% of the votes were from same day registrations! This was an orchestrated attempt to overload the system and they caught 2 of the criminals behind it.
If the U.S. Housee of Representatives passes a law that punishes students with the loss of student loans for double voting, the practice would be greatly reduced, and likely end.

You *do* realize all that went through the Minnesota Supreme Court, don’t you? So, no, I don’t think anything more could have been done. He could not have changed the outcome. The fight, however unfair, was lost, it’s time to fight the next fight. Just my opinion, no one’s Superman, and I really like how he’s handled the Dem majority, fighting them to a standstill over the last few years. C’mon, you gotta give the guy a *little* credit for that.

So, you think Pawlenty could have changed the outcome of the Coleman-Franken recount? I just don’t see it. Like it or not, the courts have the final say. But good luck, anyways.
Maybe not... but he could have made it a National story for a week or two and that would have awakened the drugged American electorate, as to how our elections have become no more valid than those of Cuba’s. Your state sponsors an illegal Senator who stole his election and the proof is absolute... proud?

It *was* a national story for more than a week or two and did not end well. I’m confident we’ll fix that when Franken faces re-election. I’m not proud we elected Jesse Ventura governor, either, but that got fixed one election cycle later, too. But I’m proud of the way Ventura’s replacement Pawlenty has handled his term, perhaps it wasn’t a natinal story so you’re not aware of how in a state ruled by the DFL with both houses dominated by liberals he delivered them a beat-down. The guy gets things done. You don’t want to admit his accomplishments, fine. You want to be bitter about the last election cycle, fine. I still say good luck to you, and we’re about all talked out here. Peace out.
Nah... I will take your word for his good deeds... I was just crushed when such an a$$hole was allowed to steal an election without any intervention. As you say... going forward... maybe you can deal with that deranged idiot in the next election.
