I think the Neanderthals Sarah Palin was referring to, were the liberals in the media who suddenly questioned whether a mother of small children should hold a full time, round the clock job, like being Vice President would entail.

Her comment is a jab at liberalism.

Besides which, she was planning, in the event of an electoral victory - to give up the job of Governor of Alaska to be Vice President of these United States.

I hate to state the obvious..... but a Governor has a job with 100 to 1000 times the demands of the Vice Presidency.

I know that might blow some minds, but it is the unvarnished truth.

If she had gotten the job it would have represented a DRAMATIC decrease in her work load.
