I would suggest that the Republicans slap this little idea down FIRMLY and go into severe block-any-democrap house or senate mode and , through anonymous sources (as always) let the rumors fly about pending investigations for the big-dawg demoncraps in both houses. Of course this would require some metal gonads hanging on the republicans who have yet to resist peeing their pants each time the left yells BOO !
