Why do you think English is a native tongue? He can’t say much without a teleprompter. For some strange reason, I doubt he used or needed a teleprompter in Indonesia.

No, he can’t say much that isn’t confusing, boring, or liable to get him in trouble. That’s because: a) he’s not a very interesting person (it’s okay, most politicians aren’t), b) he’s one of countless people who have been trained by our culture (or lack thereof), educational system (or lack thereof), and political process not to be a conversationalist, and c) he’s naturally too leftist for the electorate and knows it.
