“In many ways I see myself as a victim of the medical profession.”

At first I was seeing this as excuses, but who is it that approves, directs, suggests, helps, enables, fosters, the individual in their quest? The quote doesn’t say much about either the individual or the medical community that make it all possible.

Frankly, tattoos, piercings, radical cosmetic surgery, are all suspect in my mind. Some people are just not happy with what God and their parents, gave them.

Frankly, tattoos, piercings,

Seriously? Tattoos and piercings have been around since humans have been around ...

Having a sex change is no where on the same level as getting Tattoos and Piercings. Give me a break. Comparing Apples to Oranges there ...

Exactly. I think doctors who do this kind of mutilation on their patients should have their medical licenses pulled. A guy saying he wants to be a woman has some serious issues in his life that he needs to confront--the worst thing for him is some doctor who sees an opportunity to profit. (Ditto for women "wanting" to be men.) Maleness or femaleness are hardwired into the brain during fetal development as a result of being exposed to sex-specific hormones, and there's no way to change that.
