Blame the liberal Democrats. Specifically, LBJ and his ludicrous “Great Society” programs which could not have been more destructive if they included a bad of heroin for people signing up.

Take, for instance, Auburn Ave. in Atlanta. Just a couple of generations ago, it was a beehive of black entrepreneurial activity. Have a look at it now. Practically nothing going on of a private enterprisse nature. Explanation? The libs came through in the ‘60’s on a hunt for votes from newly enfranchised blacks, bringing a slate of giveaway programs with them.

Result? In a very short time, much more crime, addiction, dependency, and squalor. And respect for private business went right up in smoke. Throw in loss of respect for elders and knowledge as well.

Hell, even rich and successful (though maybe not real bright) Whoopee Goldberg had the gall to ask in ‘08 if the GOP had plans to make her (I believe she made it that personal) a slave.

You will not have balance or any change until conservatives yank the plugs on cable and sat TV and boycott Hollywood. Until then it is all talk.

I and most people I know have boycotted Hollywood for years. That part I understand and agree with.

I don’t get the part about cutting off cable and satellite TV. Sounds like a First Amendment violation to me.

I thought liberals believe in supression. And conservatives believe in competition.

Even here on Free Republic, on several occasions, I have posted a mild comment that "life was better in the 1950's" and -- WHAM! -- someone will seriously accuse me of missing the days of old Jim Crow.

Yep. I've gotten the same sort of response to suggestions that we eliminate the EPA. All the evil corporations will dump toxic waste in the nearest playground.

Not to mention the fact that the bulk of what we discuss here at FR comes from the media both good and bad.

A well-instructed people alone can be permanently a free people.

Definition: Dhimmi (Arabic: ذمي‎ [ˈðɪmːiː]), (collectively أهل الذمة ahl ahl al-dhimmah, "the people of the dhimma or people of the contract") is a non-Muslim subject of a state governed in accordance with sharia law. The dhimma is a theoretical contract based on a widely held Islamic doctrine granting special status to Jewish, Christian, and other non-Muslim subjects. Dhimma provides rights of residence in return for taxes.[1] Dhimmi have fewer legal and social rights than Muslims, but more rights than other non-Muslims.[2] They are excluded from the specifically Muslim duties, and otherwise equal under the laws of property, contract and obligation.

Blacks are slaves to liberalism and they are too lazy to break the chains that bind them to dim servitude.

I believe your comment is correct. But I did find one TINY bright spot this morning. Our newly elected congressman from South Carolina, Tim Scott (Black-Tea Party Supported) was asked to join the Black Caucus .... look at his response:

"I grew up in an environment where we were just very much integrated, and life worked out really well," Scott told reporters Tuesday. "I think the best for America is finding a way to fuse all of our communities together and erase all those lines that separate us."

As I said, its "tiny" ... but maybe its a start? (Source CNN)

I am well aware of Dhimmitude’s Muslim meaning...I have a bookcase full of literature about Islam, Muhammad, jihad, etc.

When I apply that term to the Democrats, what I have in mind is precisely the type of behavior being exhibited by Hussein toward Muslim culture during his Asian trip.

I've never liked the term "Take the country back" or "Take Congress back." It ends up being a football game, where each side takes over the ball and the lead jumps back and forth.

What we really need to do is GIVE the country back to the people. Yes, it involves taking control of the machinery, but as we do that, we need to educate the young and remind the adults what this country is about.

Changes we make need to be presented in language that shows how it relates to the Declaration and the Constitution. A lot of people these days have lost touch with our heritage.

If we GIVE the country back by re-establishing the principles upon which it was founded, there will be no way the lefties will be able to "take it back."

This will take time, but we need to realize that we are in an ideal teaching moment in history. "We should not let the current crisis go to waste," to paraphrase some guy in the neighborhood.

There is no denying there is some real trash on there.

Bad stuff to be sure but there is no need to toss the baby out with the bathwater.

But I maintain that we should keep ourselves informed about it and know enough about it to counter it if the subject comes up in our own families and to recognize bizarre, faddish, media-encouraged behavior among “yoots” with whom we might come into contact.

Thats unfair to make such a generalization. I'd say that 5% aren't that way.

Just checking, no negative reflection.

The DhimmiCraps do have things in common with the Muslims. They do not believe in self government and are always wanting to tell everyone else what to do.

FUBO!

Exactly. If we eliminate all the outside sources of information, we’ll become an echo chamber just like the left.

They run around bullying each other out of watching Glenn Beck or listening to Limbaugh because their ideals can’t stand up to scrutiny or competition.

It is optional. Your cable or sat TV bill is divided up among the 6 networks (who have Saudi shareholders or joint ventures with each). Each network gets roughly $5 to 6 a month because each owns about 6 to 10 channels.

It breaks down to $5 to 6 per network. So you are giving Time Warner/CNN or GE/MSNBC/NBC/CNBC $5 to 6 a month which helps keep Obama in power.

Nothing will change in America as long as Tv is a factor. When everything starts imploding then the idiots may start to connect the dot. TV is ALL about propaganda. It also keeps Obama in power.

“I don’t get the part about cutting off cable and satellite TV. Sounds like a First Amendment violation to me.”

I had satellite TV for 2 years with 120 channels. I could find nothing to watch except leftist propaganda. Was glad to be rid of it.

You are clearly not a sports fan.

Granted, most sports announcers are liberals but they usually stick to the game.

Black communities do NOT recognize the ‘destruction in the black neighborhoods’. They can only resent Whitey for having something cleaner-safer-in better condition & larger.

They have had 45+++ years of handouts called Welfare—Food Stamps—Section 8 housing—WIC—Head Start—Free meals at school—you name it. It has been a sop of a handout to the black community. They keep voting for those handouts to continue. To do otherwise would mean they would actually have to WORK to support themselves.

They truly do not know anything different, & since they are the PAUL part of robbing Peter to pay PAUL, they have absolutely no incentive to change their behavior & to change their voting tactics.

Parasites will always vote to continue handouts to themselves. They don’t know what it is to be a PRODUCER.

To put is very simply:

THEY HAVE NO SKIN IN THE GAME.
