Ok but you can go over and read the article if you want! The lefties are going nuts over there. They might be calling for impeachment pretty soon!

I believe it when I see it. Think they are worried that Obama may cave so they are trying to fire up their base. Personally I do not see him doing it.

Obama wants a good economy so he can get re-elected in 2012. That’s when he’ll have his fun.

He’ll keep saying “Tax Cuts”, too. He’s actually just not raising taxes, something everyone should make crystal clear instead of letting him try to act like he’s cutting any taxes or spending in any way.

They technically are tax cuts though, because they were set to expire in January. Not that tax cuts are a bad thing, I think the lower rates should be extended across the board, but it is a tax cut. Taxes will rise across the board next year absent congressional action.

I know this is just an extension of the 2001, 2003 tax cuts to spur the economy after 9-11!

Obama will let the current rates stand. The real battles are over spending and Obamacare. Don’t think that just because Obama’s letting the current rates stand he’s seen the light in any way........it’s only to give him some cred in the battles over spending to come.

From one of the posters:

“Was there ever any doubt they would give in? This administration folds like paper. They have learned NOTHING FROM THE MIDTERMS.

I can’t wait for President Palin in 2012.”
*****
A reply to that is That’ll be a hoot.”

I just think if Obama says he would sign it he knows it will not pass. It would go against everything he believes in.
