It’s some art director’s piss-poor way of using the flag pole as an ‘L’ and the ‘e’ is in the correct place. IMO

They even mispelled Google. Googe? Googe sounds like something you scrap out from under your toenails. Where's the green "L"? Have they decided to go "un-green"?

Not to mention, they left off the "TM" at the end of the incredibly curious new Google. Could that be a sign of some sort? Has anyone seen Google's driverless smart cars in their neighborhood? Did anyone ever figure out if their smart cars are armed?

Is this the first time that Google has had a US flag? Even so, the design is just weird. The "e" looks like a tail or something.

All-in-all, its a poor design. Even without the “muslim” crap, its just not very good at conveying the holiday, or replacing letters. I’ve seen much better ones people have made before.

I agree.

The artist could have done a better job with the light source ( the sun ) as it is seen coming through the flag. As it is now the source of light looks as if it is coming above and to the left of the flag, not from behind the flag. I would have intensified the colors of the flag but then again, I’m no artist.
