I’m a recovering liberal, a sober conservative for 16 years now. The first few years were needed to break the liberal yoke and clearly see that liberalism is wrong about human nature and its relation to wealth. Since then I have come to understand liberalism is not just wrong, it is the evil road to tyranny by Party Members over the Lesser Folk. In all of this, the members of Free Republic have been a welcome influence.
