A candid Michael Reagan dished on each of the main '12 contenders on Fox this afternoon.
On whether Sarah Palin can win a general:
"She has a shot? No. She is too polarizing. Can she raise money for the party? Can she get behind people and help them? Yes.
But she's too polarizing to be elected the President of the United States of America, and by the way, I'll hear about that on my Facebook page."
On Rick Perry:
"Look at the Governor of Texas -- Rick Perry. Probably the most Reaganesque of everybody out there. Has a new book out there, Fed Up.
Would love to be the President of the United States of America. Most Reaganesque."
On Mitt Romney:
"What Mitt Romney has to do is find charisma. He's got the Meg Whitman problem -- can't relate to anybody making less than $1 million/year.
If he wants to get the nomination, he's going to have to learn to relate to the people in Iowa and across this country."
On Jeb Bush:
"Most qualified Republican on the planet is Jeb Bush.... the problem is: his last name is Bush; not Reagan."
On Mike Huckabee:
"Very good, but with Mike Huckabee, he's got the problem with the police officers in Seattle. I know it wasn't his fault, but he'll be blamed for it. He's going to have a problem with that.
But I will tell you this: if you want to be the President of the United States and get the nomination, you need to have the passion of a Michael Huckabee.
Truly the passion. Right now a lot of those who would like to be President don't have passion in their voice.
They're not believable when they speak.

No to Huckabee. He pardoned a cop killer. And I hate his whole big government “Oh I used to be fat so let’s save the children” schtick. It scares me that this guy is leading in polls. He’s almost as big of a RINO as Romney.
I could never support Romney or Huckaphony. No 2008 retreads, please. Reagan is right about Sarah Palin, and about Jeb Bush.
After seeing what Reagan wrote about Perry there is no reason to take his judgments seriously.
Of the ones Reagan listed, I like Rick Perry.
Bloody hell.... If that is truly Michael Reagan speaking, he doesn’t have a freaking clue.
LOL. We missed your anti-Palin screeds.
Ronald Reagan was labeled as ‘polarizing’, too.
Didn’t hurt his chances for the Presidency.
I can’t tell you how sick to f-ing death, I am of the ‘polarizing’ meme.
It’s a good thing we have a uniter like Zero, huh? /s
Please no Huckabee. I never liked the Gomer Pyler TV show, I sure don’t want him as CIC.
Establishment Republicans... SCREW ‘EM ALL! They are scared to death of one principled woman with the courage to stand against them and their entrenched power. Screw the establishment party hacks... They are the reason this country is floundering. Just because Mike Reagan has his father’s name name, does not hold that he can carry his father’s torch.
if you mean by polarizing someone who stands with working class, middle class, and military against crony capitalists and lazy people, then i am all for her
Lets take a close look at JIM DEMINT
Sarah Palin is head and shoulders better than the other contenders.
We win or lose with Sarah, and I plan to win.
Reagan on Rubio: “”Marco Rubio is like the phenom of this party right now.... he may be a player in 2012. Whether he gets the nomination or not, I really don’t know.”
"From Public Policy Polling: 56% of West Virginians say they will vote for the Republican over Obama in 2 years 34% are for Obama.
Thats a reversal of the 59% Democrat/34% Republican registration in the state. Among Republican candidates the preferences are: Sarah Palin 25% Mike Huckabee 22% Mitt Romney 15% Newt Gingrich 15% Everyone else is under 2% Count me in the 23% who said someone other than those 4 or is undecided.
By the way, 37% of Democrats say they will vote for the Republican in 2012."
Figures you would post this crap.
Remember, he thinks Perry would be a good President.
Your PDS is showing again.
You'd better get Jim DeMint to take a close look first. He's said repeatedly that he is not running for president in 2012.
No passion, but plenty of lust.
I’ll take polarizing: Palin/Bolton
