Bark from the sidelines? I was born and grew up there, and have in the intervening years watched a once-beautiful state descend into a 3rd-world hellhole. Once-family friendly neighborhoods have descended into havens for crime. As so many communities in CA have declared themselves as sanctuary areas for illegals, what has that brought but gang warfare and drive-by shootings? Can you please give one piece of evidence that shows CA isn’t headed for oblivion? Its most recent voting records? Its regulatory and tax policies vis-a-vis businesses? Can you offer any other reason productive people and businesses are leaving CA in droves? Do you think it’s going to somehow get better with Pothead McMoonbeam back in the saddle in Sacramento?
Yes, the kid in the story is indeed great, but he’s of a rapidly decreasing part of the population out there.
No one ever said the negative stuff — such as the reaction to his showing the flag — was isolated to California, but it sure as hell seems to be sanctioned by government bodies. This isn’t the first time this has happened there.
You can rail against me all you want, but conditions aren’t getting better in CA. And I still maintain that in time, this country is going to cede it to Mexico.

Look, your own government piled 14 *trillion* dollars debt onto the next 30 generations of Americans, and while aiding and abetted an epic illegal invasion of our country, while fat corps shipped 100,000 companies to Communist China.
Fact is there are millions of conservatives here, we have the nations largest military presence, and the largest economy by far of ANY state, even in a lousy economy... California has the best and the worst of just about everything.
