Well, USA has been having them like clockwork since 1796, so, yes, we can expect a 2012 election.
Obama will be on the ballot.
He will get at least 43% of the vote. Democrat zombies are like that, they will vote for Obama even if he started a nuclear war by accident (”Bush’s fault!”).
Whether we have a Republican beat him 58%-42%, or some other result, like Obama winning 52% to 48%, is TBD...
Reality check: 2012 is not decided and the polls suggest it will be a close and tough race, whoever we pick:
“In a possible general election showdown, Obama leads Palin 52-44 percent among all registered voter ... In a hypothetical 2012 matchup, Huckabee leads Obama 52 - 44 percent, while Romney has a 50-45 point advantage, which is within the poll’s sampling error. Almost like clockwork. There was one scheduled for September 11. 2001 in New York City. It was postponed. Giuliani was Mayor and he rescheduled them. Obama will too, sometime.
You need to realize that Obama comes from a tradition of One man, one vote, one time. I predict it will require force to remove him from the White House.

I meant our national elections, not any local ones.
After Obama’s drubbing in the midterms, I’d say the American Republic will outlast Obama.
