HERE'S WHY OBAMA WENT TO INDIA: 8/26/10 Soros' Quantum hedge fund last week purchased Dubai Financial Group's 4% stake in the Bombay Stock Exchange....... Soros' investment comes as India works to modernize its capital markets, opening new exchanges, streamlining trading and introducing new products, like currency futures.

India's stock markets are of increasing interest to foreign investors. Brokers own 44 percent of the BSE, with public shareholders controlling the rest.

Thirty percent of public shareholding is in the hands of foreign entities, including Deutsche Boerse, the Singapore Stock Exchange, Canadian financier Tom Caldwell, and US private equity group Argonaut Ventures. Indian law prohibits foreign investors from holding more than 5% in a local exchange. The BSE had 4,990 listed companies as of July and a market capitalization of $1.4 trillion, according to its website.

Soros sold his entire Petrobras stake (Brazilian oil---Soros got $2B from Ohaha) to help finance the purchase of 4% stake in Bombay Stock Exchange. Buying and selling of non-US listed companies, including ADRs on US stock exchanges, is not required to be registered on the SEC forms.

Within 48 hours after President Obama issued the six-month moratorium on deep-water drilling, the George Soros-backed Brazilian oil company, Petrobras, contacted a large New Orleans company, Laborde Marine, which services the deep-water drilling market. The company was seeking to lease all its vessels. “If the moratorium on deep-water drilling is not lifted, 33 semi-submersible rigs and/or drill ships affected will simply go to other countries where they will be well received, such as Brazil,” Cliffe F. Laborde and J. Peter Laborde, Jr. wrote in a June 4 letter to their Louisiana Senators.

Could this be merely a happy coincidence for George Soros, the major financial backer of Obama’s presidential campaign who also has $811 million invested in the Brazilian oil company, Petrobras? Wasn’t it enough of a payback to Soros when the Obama Administration loaned up to $10 billion to Petrobras?

Soros, with his far left-wing organization, MoveOn, is called the Godfather of world socialism. But most relevant currently is that he has been an enthusiastic proponent of global warming and environmental liberalism. He has urged adoption of a global carbon tax. Could it be more than coincidence that his position is strikingly similar to what Obama called for in his June 14 Oval Office speech on the Gulf oil spill and future energy actions? Soros Is Responsible for Widespread Election Fraud

Document from The Secretary of State Project: "Since we launched in the fall of 2006, we have engaged in eighteen races and have backed the winning candidate in ten states, including: California, Iowa, Ohio, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, and West Virginia. We lost in Michigan (twice, once by a small margin), Ohio (won once, lost once), Iowa (won once, lost once by a small margin), Colorado (lost there by a small margin both times), and South Dakota.

2010 was a tough year. We helped re-elect Mark Ritchie in Minnesota and Debra Bowen in California, but our candidates in other states — incumbents and challengers alike — were all defeated in the Republican wave election.

ACTION The races mentioned above should be examined with a fine tooth comb. Races won w/ minority and nonwhite voters, Hispanics, etc, are especially subject to fraud.

If The Secretary of State Project used HAVA funds (Help America Vote Act) to get out the vote, that could be a basis for federal action.

HAVA is subsidized w/ federal funds. The federal law provides for federal monies to assist states in upgrading voting equipment and election procedures to protect the right to vote of all citizens (particularly immigrants, Black Americans, and young voters).

Under HAVA a Preliminary Plan must be prepared, w/ a 30-day public comment period.........distributed on the internet and hard copies broadly disseminated. The public would also attend six of the Committee’s twelve work sessions and participate in six public hearings.

In one state---NJ---the state's AG--its chief election officer----used HAVA grants to pay for food and transportation at hip-hop summits aimed at getting young people to vote.

The federal HAVA commission, known as EAC, stated that states cannot use federal grants doled out under HAVA for entertainment costs like food and travel.

"EAC considers food provided to students at the summits and transportation provided to students to and from the summit as entertainment costs and not an allowable use of HAVA funds," an audit said. "In addition to being unallowable, EAC does not consider the costs reasonable since the summits were broadcast via the Internet to other schools that did not incur food and travel expenses to obtain the same information."
