Important point in this article (despite some crude comments on thread...).
Feminism is the ultimate hatred of femininity and of course real masculinity as well. The entire philosophy [sic] of feminism is hatred of Natural Law, the Author of Natural Law, rationality, the family, and the real interest and happiness of both men and women. It is based on lies and sick emotions like envy, hatred and lust.
In the fifties, when I grew up, it was natural that girls looked forward to marriage and motherhood. It was expected that almost all girls would want to be wives and mothers; this cultural standard reflected the truth of womens' natural tendencies, desires and abilities.
Now girls are indoctrinated to be sluts, aggressive, combative and now homosexual man haters. Feminism didn't "turn extreme", it started off that way.
I've told before my story of attending some "womens' liberation" meetings in Berkeley, CA in the late 1960s - 68 or more likely 69. I was a teenager, living on my own. My older roomate (late 20s) invited me. I didn't mind the first couple of meetings because there was free marijuana continuously passed around.
By around the third meeting, the rage filled screeching of hatred towards men got to me and when they all revealed that they lusted for other women, that was it. I realized then, even in my drugged stupor, that these women were evil and crazy.

I had the same experience in 1970-something after one N.O.W. meeting in Philadelphia, only without the recreational enhancements. The meeting started off about equal pay for equal work. A friend and I went. We had both read Ms Magazine and were both married to control freaks; but even so, the minute the lesbian rights stuff started halfway through, we got up and left.
It all boils down to the primary theme premising leftist ideology of the oppressed versus the oppressor -whether it be the rich versus the poor, the workers versus the corporation, homosexual versus the heterosexual, the third world versus the west, "Mother Earth" versus Mankind, or women versus men -the theme is the same...
Many may disagree, but in my opinion, the "Violence Against Women Act" is noting more than more of the same leftist inspired garbage law just as corrupt in premise, application, and outcome as any of the recent legislation coming from the left e.g. health care reform...
