Et tu, WaPo?
The Constitution Club ^ | November 13, 2010 | The Hairy Beast

Posted on 11/13/2010 8:51:49 AM PST by Mongeaux

Well, the Washington Post puts up a bit of a shocker in the editorial section today, via Instapundit:

To be a great president, Obama should not seek reelection in 2012. “We do not come to this conclusion lightly. But it is clear, we believe, that the president has largely lost the consent of the governed.”

It’s a rare day indeed when this Beast agrees with the WaPo, but he’s willing to bring the thought a step farther: to be a really awesome President, Obama should resign now!

While we're at it, there's more on the Palace revolt in progress, also via Instapundit: Joe Scarboro says top Senate Democrats have told him Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing(embedded video at site).

As the Beast noted in a prior post, the cracks are widening and the leaks floweth forth.

Except this isn’t the Washington Post’s opinion, it is Doug Schoen’s and Pat Caddell’s opinion. If it was an WP editorial it would be stunning.

If the Fed crashes the economy the way I think they will by this time next year, it is not inconceivable the Rats will try to cut their losses by running off the Wee Wee.

One easy way to do this is to come clean on his place of birth and/or citizenship.

Pop some corn, if you can still find any, and stay tuned.

What they mean is that if there is any chance of having a Rat president win in ‘12, Obama must not run. The last time that an eligible sitting president didn’t run was Johnson in ‘08.

Correction Johnson in 1968.

Little late to the dance don’t you think? We tried to tell them that a long time ago.

Doesn’t surprise me. Sounds to me like the writers want to clear the way for a Hillary run in 2012.

I don’t think that’s true. I think the man knows exactly what he’s doing and is a committed enemy of the US. Dems, Scarborough et al. wold like to hide behind “he doesn’t know what he’s doing”, but it’s not so.

If he's "lost the consent of the governed" shouldn't Deomcrats stop voting for his policies? Shouldn't they vote to repeal his existing "accomplishments"?

Not gonna happen.

See, this is the problem with Democrats. They don't care if they have the consent of the governed. All they care about is having power. They think they're the smartest people in the world, so if they're in power, then to hell what the people want. They've proven that already. Thus, Obama is going to run in 2012.

Nice YouTube discussions. Who’s the pouty blonde who keeps rolling her eyes in disgust and then looking at the camera to make sure the camera angle is right? haha.
