We faced the same thing when they came to WV to “protest” at the memorial service for the Sago miners a few years back. Fortunately, the area reserved for the WBC was quite a ways from where the service was held.
apparently, they (the News and Messenger)are processing the pictures of the counter-protesters and will have some up shortly. Probably on their Facebook page, as even the article directs people to their Facebook page for updates...
They posted a WBC picture on the link above now. It’s blurry as all get out though...
No, they fund themselves by suing everyone they can and through the family law firm, Phelps Chartered.
Parasites!!!!
Id like to know how these idiots fund their protests. Seriously, how can they afford to be traveling around every weekend for protests hundreds of miles from home?
LAWSUITS. Many of the(few) members are lawyers.
funding..
Hate gets funding
Hamas
Al-queda
No shortage of groups/people that are willing to fund hate..
Howdy, neighbor- Dale City here. If I’d known about it today I’d have made an effort to drive by and at least make a rude gesture to the WBC nuts on my way in to work.
Better still- I have a motorcycle. I hear that they *really* don’t like those! :-)
“its not freezing this morning...45 degrees out.”
Perfect for some anonymous water balloons to be hurled from the crowd.
Hi neighbor! We are in Lake Ridge. I read in the last article that the N&M put on their website that there was someone on a bike who was circling around on Old Bridge and revving his engine everytime he passed. LOL
I asked my husband what it was like when he got home, and he looked at me, kissed me and said “honey, I go to work early, so that I miss as much traffic and crap as possible.”
He missed the big boom from Quantico that apparently was heard and felt all the up to Alexandria and out to Gainesville. He was on 95 coming south at that time...

I do the same thing- leave early to miss the worst of the traffic.
I hear the Marine Corps blowing stuff up at Quantico all the time. You can go to their web page and they have a noise advisory posted when they’re going to be doing it.
Yeah, I discovered that when we first got here 2 years ago...we moved here from Ft Hood, so booms were not new to me, or my older dog, but the one yesterday was a lot louder (I guess combo between the low clouds and the old/ripe munitions). I was in my basement and just thought it was a trash truck, til I remembered that it was not trash day. My dogs and parakeet went nuts, and my toddler son was scared by it. Apparently they are doing some more on the 18th in the morning.
