There are two million more registered Dems than Pubs in CA. That’s a hard margin to overcome.
There are 5.3 million registered Republicans, but both Brown and Boxer only received about 4.5 million votes. That means there are enough Republicans that could have won it for Meg and Fiorina by at least 1 million votes if they just voted.
