Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said over the weekend that he expects former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will run for president in 2012 and that he "would be my preference" for the GOP nomination.
It's one of the first statements of 2012 support from a congressional Republican.

Hatch has failed to get anybody else to put him on the Supremos. Harriet Meyers gets nominated, but no Orrin “Porter Rockwell” Hatch. W, that was mean.

I used to be a big Hatch supporter. In 1976 I made sure he got all the votes from my huge extended family to defeat Frank Moss, the last rat from Utah to sit in the Senate. I know I was even dumber then, but it seemed right . 36 years rat free , thanks , now go.
