If he resigns, hope it’s after January and our guys are in control of the House. Meantime, until then, remember Pelosi is next in line for the Presidency.

If Obama resigns, then Biden becomes president.

Meantime, until then, remember Pelosi is next in line for the Presidency.

Yep, and that is why she is fighting so hard to retain her status as Speaker of the House. The upper echelon of the Democrat party sense there might be a meltdown coming, and that Obama just might have to "resign" due to his emotional stability. All the signs are there. He is already in a depression, obviously, and it seems impossible that his narcissistic supply of adulation from his staff and admirers is going to continue to be available. Without the constant praise, Obama is headed for the counseling couch, or maybe a room in the psych ward.

So, Pelosi is the stronghold for the Party, and the Dems really won't worry about Biden being next in line. He will be easy to either remove, or shove aside for some reason the Dems might initiate.

As much as I dislike Obama and what he stands for, he is actually better than having Pelosi in the Oval Office. The GOP can deal with him, he will not be effective over the next two years anyway. Somehow they just need to keep him out of internatical politics and our economy and make him irrelevant. I doubt that could be done with Pelosi whose mental strength is not severely compromised by emotional neediness, as is Obama's.

Pelosi does not need adoration. She is a bull, and although her politics are abhor rant, she is quite capable of surviving criticisms and detractors. Not Obama. Biden, as a possible replacement, is inconsequential to the Dems. They will just shove him around and mostly ignore him, as has always been the case. Or, if he should take the Presidential seat, they will control him and he will like it because he has always liked being used.
