My daughter was quizzed by the El Al official before being allowed into the boarding area. There is no way a terrorist could have passed that quizzing. The questions were about religion, culture, education, family background, knowledge of Israel, etc. I’m quite sure the Muslim Bomber would have failed every single time.
We flew El-Al sevral years ago and were quizzed pretty thoroughly. For one thing, we did not fit the profile of the main group — elderly Methodists — being much younger.
And DH does look like a criminal master mind :-)
They were efficient and thorough and quick. Nobody got patted down.
