Jindal: I'm "Better At Talking To People" Than Using Teleprompters (video)

Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) talks about his bumbled response to an address made by President Obama.

"Look, I'll be honest, I'll take responsibility for it. The delivery was awful. It turns out I can't read teleprompters, turns out I'm much better just talking to people.

It took Blanco’s total bumbling response to Katrina for the people of Louisiana to realize they needed a competent governor, not someone who simply emotes with them.

I’m guessing that this time around, a lot of people that thought Obama’s rock-star/messiah schitck was so cool are going to change their mind and decide competent is cool.

True, but good luck convincing a few around here that means he is a “natural born citizen” elligible to be president. The birthers are either willfully ignorant or trolls wanting to make conservatives look like fools.

Expect people to tell you that a book by Vattel actually controls the US Constition. (You’ve heard of Vattel, haven’t you? He wrote a book Ben Franklin had, ergo what he wrote in some passage MUST mean that the Framers intended that only persons whose parents were US citizens at the time of birth were “natural born citizens.” Never mind the fact that the word “parents” does not appear in Article 2.)

Don’t expect anyone to show you one single official US or state document such as a passport or birth certificate which differentiates bewteen a “natural born citizen” and a mere “born citizen.”

Actually, Blanco started running attack ads against Jindal painting him as a radical on his health care positions and his role running the dept.of hospitals. Jindal did not answer the attack ads and his poll numbers went down and she won. When he ran the 2nd time, he learned his lesson and answered the attack ads and won handily.

That moment was handled poorly. They should have allowed Bobby to just speak and be himself. That scripted BS that he did was crap. Truth is, Bobby can go head to head with anybody and speak coherently about the subject and have facts and figures in his head to back his position up. He is not an empty suit blowing sunshine up people’s butt’s, he is a brilliant man.
