Lame duck legislators should probably think long and hard about voting for this travesty. Come January - they will no longer have the “trappings” of their office to keep them separated from the regular tax-paying peons. Life might get real difficult for some of them.

Life might get real difficult for some of them.

Most of them will never return to their districts again. They will move their families out before the end of the session.

I like your thinking though, has real possibilities.
