That would be anti-democratic (small d). It does show where Kalifornia's open primaries will take us. It allows a party to choose the candidates for the 'other' party because I am willing to bet that many Alaska dems abandoned their own candidate and voted for Lisa M which allowed her to win over Miller.

How is it undemocratic? Murkowski agreed to abide by the rules when she ran her campaign.

She lost so she wasn’t willing to play by the rules that she had accepted at the start.

Presumably had the tables been turned, she’d have insisted that Miller drop out.
