I don’t know when [Hannity] is going to shut up about Bobby Jindal for President--a man who is not a natural born citizen.

Last April, a left-wing protester brutally attacked Allee Bautsch, an aide to Jindal, breaking her leg and sending her to the hospital. Intimidation tactics of this sort strike at the heart of our traditions as a free, constitutional republic. Yet it appears that the police have done nothing, the governor said nothing, and the case has never been solved. Why didn't Jindal denounce the crime and vow to catch the perp?

“Sean Hannity says the same thing, “We just need to suck it up...”

Then Hannity is a media wonk. What is the government says they need to confiscate all guns and it may be invasive but necessary. What is the government says it needs to abolish any sort of protests. It’s invasive but necessary. The list is endless. Our freedoms and the American way of life is changing drastically all to bow down to one religion. Dana Perino is a Bush appointee and is a media wonk as well. Just a thought.

“Sean Hannity says the same thing”.

Sorry to keep pinging you but Sean Hannity probably flies on private jets. Easy to say something is necessary for EVERYONE else but YOU. Just a thought.

“Scientists Say Body Scanners Will Likely “Cause Cancer”
November 15, 2010
snip

Biochemist John Sedat and his colleagues said in the letter that most of the energy from the scanners is delivered to the skin and underlying tissue.

“While the dose would be safe if it were distributed throughout the volume of the entire body, the dose to the skin may be dangerously high,” they wrote.

The scientists say the X-rays could pose a risk to everyone from travelers over the age of 65 to pregnant women and their unborn babies, to HIV-positive travelers, cancer patients and men.

“Men’s sexual organs are exposed to the X-rays. The skin is very thin there,” Love explained.”

These scanners are especially risky for frequent fliers, and more vulnerable people (mentioned above).

Do we really want to risk our health because the govt. CLAIMS we are more safe?

Should we trust TSA when they CLAIM that patting down little children will make us safe?

I know that technology exists today - explosives, are all made of known chemicals so why is there even a need for any visual inspection/photo’s etc when these sniffers can just sniff a passenger to detect an explosive?

Yep, it's name is Rex and his nose is proven to be far more effective at detecting explosives than the expensive, intrusive and unconstitutional scanners. We need more bomb sniffing dogs and less boob grabbing clods.

"Flying was once a fun experience."

I remember when OJ used to run through the a/p, leaping over ropes to make his flight. Those were good times apparently (and the stews looked a lot better too).

"Hannity said that??? Say it ain't so, Joe! "

Savage is correct on this one. Hannity is just a wall-banger.

I can only listen to him in the weeks immediately preceding an election.

I had a 250,000 mile club card with Northwest when we lived and I traveled out of the Twin Cities. You could not find a more smug and arrogant airline but it was what we had...

It’s not even necessary. Links below show how the Israelis handle flight security without molesting your wives, daughters and mothers.

I was a FF with Republic and didn't like NW when they took over. Delta is even worse IMHO.

The few times I fly now, SW is the prime choice. Alaskan (inverted 727s not withstanding) the best I've flown on in the last few decades, but they don't go my way much.

We flew Alaska Air last march to and from Hawaii on a 737. It was a long but mostly comfortable flight.
I think my favorite airplane was the 727 which NW had plenty of. A pilot could stand one of those things practically on its tail to get out of short runway or bad weather situations...

Oh, I never said it was necessary. That’s the power-grabbers’ argument, though, so let’s see if it helps their case any.

Necessary or unnecessary doesn’t matter one bit. Why? Because before they can justify their actions on that basis, they first have to overcome another obstacle - the supreme law of this country, which plainly outlaws their “necessary for our own protection” actions.

That firewall known as The Bill of Rights has now been breached and the tyrants exposed. The alarms have sounded, and all doubt as to their intentions has been removed. They have declared themselves enemies of free people.

I guess they thought they could sneak another one past us. “Necessary” is a favorite excuse of tyrants, after all. They don’t let a crisis go to waste, and will often manufacture a crisis to justify their “necessary” remedies.

They’ve now placed us in one such manufactured dilemma, and have given us a choice: “You’ll either let us rub our hands all over your wives and children, or we’ll turn you and your family over to the blood-thirsty muslims. Now what’s it gonna be, mister?”
