Homo means pertainging to humans as in Homonid. Homo also means sameness as in homosexual or homoginizes. Phob means fear of. If you are a homophobe you are afraid of humans or are afraid of things that are the same. The Gaystapo is using language as a weapon against us. They should leave our language alone and stick to packing fudge.
They have time to sodomize the language because, not having children and having really good jobs, they have the time and the money to fiddle about with this kind of thing.
Yeah, that is what I thought until I went to Dictionary.com. Here is what they say:
intense hatred or fear of homosexuals or homosexuality
I do not hate homosexuals, but the word “or” is in that description. I do HATE homosexuality. I hate sin. I understand that God HATES sin, and homosexuality is pretty clearly spelled out as a sin in the bible.
That means Christians are, by definition, homophobic. And that is a good thing.
