George Soros Throws President Obama Under the Bus (Soros' Radioactivity )
Mediaite | November 17, 2010 | Mediate

Dear FReepers,

Superficially, the above statement when attributed to George Soros seems to indicate there's been a falling out, or that he's disenchanted somehow with POTUS. Nothing could be further from the truth. At this moment Soro's needs Hussein much more than Hussein needs the Puppetmaster. By encouraging donors elsewhere only indicates Hussein has stolen all the money he'll ever need.

Publishing this poppycock in Mediate serves Soros' purposes to a tee and clearly indicates this is more disinformation designed to reduce GS public exposure.

First, on the surface it appears that Soros feels the heat from Glenn Beck and Free Republic. Closer examination makes this thought positively laughable. POTUS and his pet Eric Holder are the law! At least for the next two years GS is as safe as his mentor Adolph Hitler was in . GS knows better than any rat when it's time to disappear. Second, Soros functions best outside public scrutiny. His acts of treason and generational theft must operate in the darkness. It only takes one person to end his criminality. It only takes one act of courage to destroy him. GS has played this game many times before. Third, Soros has just sold his 'public' shares of Bioscan the company Bush/Obama steered to DHS. No doubt Israeli security would have been a more acceptable alternative to the travelling public, but these people want the public angry and lashing out.

The recent loss of the House was already factored into the equation. Evidence, why else would House Dems re-elect nutty Nancy Pelosi? Why would the remaining Dems fall-in lockstep behind a collasal failure unless their ultimate goal has already been carefully articulated to these 'loyal' minions. Violent revolution has been their goal since Denver! Before today, I've been reluctant to relate an interesting an conversation I had with a delegate returning home immediately after the convention. Positively glowing, she was like a pilgrim returning home from a cancer healing at Lourdes. As a former casanova, I know when the scent is in the air. That's why I've waited until today to report upon our rendevous. She's a major community organizer from a Midwest city who took part in the Shadow Government. She said she organizes and operates anarcist activities. When I expressed frustration with the 2008 political detente, she told me the whole world was about to change. Riots, violent protests through importation of trained professional radicals. After 2008, there wouldn't be another Presidential election. Obama will rule with an iron hand. Make no mistake, once it comes down to gunplay; Obama wins bigtime!

Soros knows what he's seen in the post-modern polyglot eastern Europe, his battlefield now is the United States. He has never engaged a hostile media, or a unified American people. He must act soon, or he better run.

George Soros Throws President Obama Under the Bus to Progressive Donors

Kajillionaire activist, Media Matters funder, and to hear Glenn Beck tell it, Puppetmaster of the coming One World Government George Soros is reportedly pulling on some strings. According to reporting by HuffPo’s Sam Stein, Soros told a private gathering of progressive donors that “Democratic donors (should) direct their support somewhere other than the President.”

An adviser for Soros later told Stein that Soros was not suggesting a primary challenge to President Obama...From The Huffington Post:

According to multiple sources with knowledge of his remarks, Soros told those in attendance that he is “used to fighting losing battles but doesn’t like to lose without fighting.”

“We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line,” he said, according to several Democratic sources. “And if this president can’t do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else.”

…”Mr. Soros fully supports the president as the leader of the Democratic Party,” said (Soros adviser Michael) Vachon. “He was not suggesting that we seek another candidate for 2012. His comments were made in a private, informal conversation that was about the need for progressives to be more forceful...

The frustration liberals and progressives are feeling toward the Obama administration has mainly to do with the weak signals the White House has been sending about standing up to the post-midterm Congressional Republicans. Vachon’s denial aside, perhaps administration fear of a primary challenge isn’t the worst thing in the world for progressives. As a practical matter, though, it is extremely unlikely that the Democrats would challenge their own incumbent, and certainly not two years out from the Presidemtial election.

Still, the fact that such a move would be political suicide for progressives probably suits Glenn Beck just fine...

You are misreading this. He is not throwing Obama under the bus. It is a “call to arms” if you will to get the base supporting things OTHER than Obama. Think about it.
The dems lost all over the place because of lack of support at the local levels. He’s trying to get them back in support of reps, Senators, governors, etc.

Soros hasn’t thrown Obama under the bus. The fact that this story was leaked should make anyone suspicious. Its as if they wanted to lull us back to sleep.

My take is that GS sees Obama as emptied of useful juice for the nourishment of his agenda, and he is priming other resources fully loaded with useful idiocy to fill the position he had Obama in.

I think GS may be one “H” of a financial wizard, but short on the understanding of free people, and he tangled his strings too often manipulating Obama. With Obama empty, and ALL credibility shot, he is seeking another host.

That’s my perspective FWIW.

I’m not buying it either unless GS thinks Obama hasn’t gone socialist enough, fast enough. That’s the only thing libs are upset with Obama about, other than he lacks Clinton’s ability to BS the voters into thinking he isn’t what he is.

“We have just lost this election, we need to draw a line,” he said, according to several Democratic sources. “And if this president can’t do what we need, it is time to start looking somewhere else.”

Well, well, well. Even Soros has now given up on Obama. Serves him right for choosing an inexperienced, Marxist, community organizer to do his bidding.

Don't think that this statement by Soros won't go viral amongst the Hope & Change faithful. Zero has just been fired, and any lib with a quarter of a brain will know it (those nitwits only have half a brain as it is).

The next two years ought to be real interesting for Dear Reader. I already suspect that high ranking members of the Democrat party are scheming to remove or neutralize him. This from Soros will only give them more courage to bring out the long knives (figuratively speaking, of course).

I wonder if Soros had anything to do with the margin call on the Carlyle Group? I know he was an investor at one time but don’t know if he was still involved when it went down? I know also Liquidators for a Hedge fund is suing Carlyle Group so it would be interesting to know if he still owned it or helped collapse it. Does anyone know?

snippet...

More than a year ago, the fund leveraged its $670 million equity 32 times to finance a $21.7 billion portfolio of AAA-rated residential mortgage-backed securities issued by Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. It borrowed money from at least a dozen banks and firms, including Bank of America Corp., Citigroup Inc. and Merrill Lynch & Co.

Carlyle Capital posted the securities as collateral under repurchase agreements, so if the value of the securities fall, the lender has the right to ask for more collateral — a margin call — to secure the loan. If the borrower does not meet the margin call, the lender may sell the security.

The value of mortgage-backed securities has plummeted as U.S. home prices fall and foreclosures surge, prompting the banks to ask Carlyle Capital for more than $400 million in additional capital. The fund was unable to come up with the money, prompting lenders to start foreclosing on the securities.

As of Wednesday, Carlyle Capital said it has defaulted on about $16.6 billion of its debt, and the rest is expected to go into default soon. About $5.7 billion of the defaulted debt has been sold, the Carlyle Group said Thursday. Spokeswoman Emma Thorpe said she couldn’t say what has been done with the rest.

Soros was an investor..

Carlyle Capital was initially launched as a private fund in 2006 but it is its parent company that is much more interesting.

According to its website, “The Carlyle Group, headquartered in Washington D.C., was established in 1987 as a “private global investment firm that originates, structures and acts as lead equity investor in management-led buyouts, strategic minority equity investments, equity private placements, consolidations and buildups, and growth capital financings.”

Among the major players that have, over the years, been closely associated with the Group are former Secretary of State James Baker, III; former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger; billionaire George Soros; members of the bin Laden family and, most notably, Carlyle Group Director George H. W. Bush.

The second company, Thornburg Mortgage, Inc also announced this week that it was facing default as it failed to meet “a substantial number” of new calls it was facing. Officers said that the Santa Fe, New Mexico company was trying to sell securities, offer debt, or raise capital but many analysts were speculating that the company might have no choice but to file bankruptcy.
