No. A business is in business to make money. If the NFL can get the government officials to spend taxpayers' money for their gladiator pits, that is good business (for them). In this case, the government officials and the taxpayers are the poor businessmen.

As for the players, by definition they are never overpaid, unless they do not perform to their contract. If an owner wants to pay so much for a players' service, that is his right.

No, the NFL players are not overpaid as their talent is very rare and they make tons of money for their team owners.

However, the NFL owners are Socilaist Scum as they take money from the tax payer to fund their stadiums and subsidize their businesses.

It is the free market at work. Do you respect the market?

For those who don't remember we have been through this before. The teams played with players who chose not to strike and with new signees.

If you don't like sports there are about a zillion other channels to watch.
