And of the ones who are left, they are for the most part conservatives plenty pissed at their old southern democrat machine supporting leftist crap and obama, and destroying tobacco, textiles and the furniture industry. Done through big labor, EPA, and the investment bankers (running US made furniture makers out of the country, if at all. So you have towns with names like Thomasville, Lexington with no plants. And the High Point furniture mart selling crap made in Indonesia, china, and Vietnam- a bloody shame)

Check my reply #81 this thread, to which I’ll add, possibly Mel Watt would go. The problem in NC is that the number one employer in NC is either the State of NC or the federal govt.(like EPA HQ in Research Triangle Park) or quasi-govt. jobs supporting federal policy— as in pharmaceuticals/regulation compliance. When I travel there I am struck by the number of REAL North Carolinians who have been shoved aside by the demoncrat machine. The change in the legislature is however tectonic. They have had enough, and obama put the nail in the coffin. Now for perdue the hen chicken and her pals. But is HAS to be conservative, not RINO or on the tit of the federal govt. Get these cabinet makers and farmers real earning jobs and businesses, support small business. And also get rid of Kay Hagen, whose uncle was FL’s Lawton “walkin asshole” Chiles.
