Millionaires to Obama: Tax us (reverse peristalsis alert)

Anti-tax activists everywhere have been loudly arguing for an extension of George W. Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans in the United States. Now a group of millionaires is arguing the opposite.

More than 40 of the nation's millionaires have joined Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Strength to ask President Obama to discontinue the tax breaks established for them during the Bush administration, as Salon reports.

"For the fiscal health of our nation and the well-being of our fellow citizens, we ask that you allow tax cuts on incomes over $1,000,000 to expire at the end of this year as scheduled," their website states. "We make this request as loyal citizens who now or in the past earned an income of $1,000,000 per year or more."

I never understand these people. The first time I ever heard this was Larry King on a late night radio talk show. We all should be taxed more. Okay, fine, if you want to be taxed even more, write a check. You can write a check for more than you owe. The IRS will be happy. Why does every one elses taxes have to go up to satisfy you?

Mostly the people that call for higher taxes are rich enough that they won’t miss the money and make most of their money from capital gains that are in tax sheltered funds.

This is how you know it is a liberal/leftist ploy - they believe in mandatory everything. Voluntary doesn’t suit their agenda.

I suggest they increase taxes only on people who speak out in favor of higher taxes. Let's try that for a while and see how it goes.

Nobody's stopping these a$$h*les from writing extremely large checks to the IRS.

I have only heard of one person who chose to send the IRS many millions more than was required, Elvis Presley. That was a long time ago.

Warren Buffett is a lot richer than Elvis ever was. Whenever I hear him speak out in favor of "taxing the rich", I wonder how many multi-billion dollar checks he has chosen to send the IRS.

If they are soooooo generous, why don’t they just add an extra $250,000 to their tax return every year until they die! That’s only fair and let everyone else along.

Well, these rich moonbats got theirs....how about leaving the rest of us alone so we can get OURS?

Also, these wealthy libs can write out a check to the U.S. treasury anytime they want to if they wish to pay additional money to the government. They don’t need an act of Congress.

Instead of supporting the legalized theft from their peers, if they were true to the so-called principles they want everyone to believe they have, they would simply step up to the “patriotic plate” and freely donate a large chunk of their own assets to the political class institutional apparatus - government - they think so highly of.

The bozo millionaires can just give more than their return says. Like the Pharisees. Brag on, who cares. In fact the big buck guys can send the cash to me if they want to help the economy.

Wealth = Net Worth .........Income = Net Work! Why don’t we tax the “rich” as defined by net worth 1% over $3 Million?

These selfish scumbags are free to write whatever checks to the government treasury they want. But to push for their neighbors and perfect strangers to have money confiscated from them against their will is about as rude as it gets.

I’d like to see the list of names of these 40 rude pieces of sh!t.
